The Nativity of Our Lord

Happy and Holy Christmas

Adeste Fideles
Laeti triumphantes
Venite, venite in Bethlehem
Natum Videte Regem Angelorum
Venite, adoremus
Venite, adoremus,
Venite, adoremus Domini

En, grege relicto
humiles ad cunas
Vocati pastores approperant:
et nos ovanti
gradu festinemus
Venite, adoremus,
Venite, adoremus,
Venite adoremus Domini

Aeterni parentis,
splendorem aeternum,
Velatum sub carne
videbimus:
Deum infantem
pannis involutum
Venite, adoremus,
Venite, adoremus,
Venite, adoremus Domini

Pro nobis egenum
et foeno cubantem,
Piis foveamus amplexibus,
Sic non amantem
quis non redamaret?
Venite, adoremus,
Venite, adoremus,
Venite, adoremus Domini

The Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ is motive to great hope.
Against the world who does not want to repent and receive Him, Christ receives the sinners that, contrite and humble, made repentance for their crimes.
Against the flesh that only lives for pleasures, Christ is born in a poor manger where it is cold.
Against the devil, perverse and ruthless, God incarnates in man without stopping to be God and comes to save us from sin and its cruel and damned power.
I wish my readers a Happy and Holy Christmas.
